Ask which rules your group or competition follows. For a mobile game, read the instructions for the specific mode: an app may simplify the traditional game.
The queen
The red disc is called the queen. Its eligibility, covering requirements and scoring are defined by the rules in use. Learn these before trying to pocket it.
Fouls and scoring
A foul can affect the position of pieces or your turn. Scoring can also depend on the chosen format. Check the relevant rulebook instead of assuming that every app and table is identical.
